Denton Chamber endorses new Map/Magazine Publisher

The chamber board has approved an exciting new agreement with a Denton County company, Community Matters, Inc., to publish the next two editions of the popular relocation guide, currently called Distinctly Denton, and city-county map.  Both of these publications will be supported by exclusive chamber member advertising.

Ad sales for the map begin September 1 with delivery anticipated in mid-January.  Community Matters, Inc. will print 20,000 maps.  The shelf life for both the map and magazine is expected to be 18 months, giving advertisers long-term exposure to the two most requested exhibits at the chamber office.  In addition, the map will be accessible on the chamber’s website, a convenient new benefit for visitors and potential new residents and businesses.

This board-approved contract is equivalent to a formal “endorsement” of the map and magazine produced by Community Matters, Inc.  The Denton Chamber does not endorse or distribute any other map or community resource magazine.

The chamber’s Convention & Visitor Bureau does, however, produce a semi-annual events and attractions magazine called Denton Live.  This publication is also distributed through the chamber office, but, is strategically targeted for tourist and leisure travel market.
