The nomination forms for the 2009 Small Business Person of the Year have already been distributed to the general Chamber membership. Please keep in mind that potential nominees should be the owner and/or top local decision-maker, have been in business for at least two years, have less than 100 full-time employees, and no more than $5 million in gross sales.

Last year’s award was presented to Chris Hawley and Marcus Watson, co-owners of Little Guys Movers.

This year, celebrating its 24th anniversary, the award will be announced at the Denton Chamber Membership Luncheon on Friday, February 5 at the UNT Gateway Center. Dr. Ann Stuart, President & Chancellor of Texas Woman’s University, will be the featured speaker of the luncheon, sponsored by Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.
