WINC's Mission:

Promote the growth and development of Denton-area businesswomen through initiatives that increase access to resources, professional and personal development, and networking.

The Denton Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Sally Beauty Holdings, developed this initiative to provide women with the tools for professional and personal success including important resources, education/training, and networking opportunities.

The initiative originated with semi-annual conferences that featured guest speakers from a variety of industries as well as an interactive business showcase - encouraging attendees and participants to network and form working business relationships.

Presently, Women In Commerce offers women business leaders access to the following annual programs:

RED, WHITE & JAZZ

Red, White & Jazz is our major Spring Event, designed to bring together business and networking via a festive environment.

These events also offer Chamber Member businesses the opportunity for visibility and recognition by serving as a host, contributing sponsor, or raffle prize donor.

FALL LEADERSHIP LUNCHEON

The Fall Luncheon is a formalized leadership development program that offers topics such as work/life balance, personal branding, and leadership skills among many others. Each year a variety of women business leaders are invited to share their expertise and impart innovative and inspiring tips for professional and personal development.
