Let's be Passionate...

My name is Charlie Hunter. I’m the new guy at the Denton Chamber of Commerce and the best way that I can introduce myself is to talk about my passions. I have a lot of passions. There’s crate digging, animal welfare, cooking, charity work and road trips to name a few. But at the top of the list you’ll find Denton. I moved to Denton in 2001 and knew that I’d found some place special, some place different than everywhere else I’d been. You’ve probably felt it too, that spark, that feeling in the air, the one that makes you feel like you can do anything. This city is a magical wellspring of talented people and immense support, so I did it all. I’ve run music festivals. I’ve co-founded nonprofits. I’ve attended two of the three colleges. I’ve launched my own small businesses. I’ve volunteered for multiple committees and events. And at every turn, I’ve met amazing people from all walks of life who all say the same thing;
